What is Ortho-K?

How Does Ortho-K Work?

Your cornea is the transparent, dome-shaped surface that bends light to help you focus. Because the corneal tissue is naturally flexible, it can be reshaped gently and temporarily. Ortho-K lenses, FDA-approved for overnight wear, use the natural tears between the lens and the cornea to reshape the front surface of your eye while you sleep. This gentle flattening adjusts how light enters your eye, resulting in clearer vision the next day. When you remove the lenses in the morning, your cornea retains its new shape for many hours, giving you sharp, glasses-free sight throughout the day.

Ridgeview Eye Care-Olathe is be the best! They have the best customer service around. My glasses of 5 months were broken and not repairable, I went in for help and they reordered the lenses under my warranty, but the frame still did not sit right. My daughter was getting married in just over a week and Lauren told me they would do whatever it takes to get my glasses repaired. 6 days later I got a call that my glasses were ready, I went to pick them up and they had a new pair just in time for me to see my daughter walk down the aisle; this means the world to me that they worked so hard to make this happen.
