What are Scan-Designed
Scleral Lenses?

Scan-designed scleral lenses are an advanced form of custom contact lenses created using state-of-the-art eye-mapping technology. These lenses are specifically made to fit the unique shape of your eye by capturing detailed, three-dimensional scans of both the cornea and the sclera.

This leads to a much more accurate fit and better overall performance, especially for those who have complex vision needs or irregular eye shapes.

Who Are They For?

Keratoconus or other corneal irregularities
These conditions cause the cornea to become misshapen, making traditional contact lenses difficult or uncomfortable to wear

Post-surgical corneas
Individuals who have undergone LASIK, corneal transplants, or other eye surgeries often have irregular eye surfaces that require a custom solution.

Severe dry eye or ocular surface disease

FABULOUS!!! Quick and VERY efficient. Doctor and staff VERY friendly. When I walked through the doors I was met with a very warm and welcoming staff member. Ridgeview Eye Care-Olathe is be the best! They have the best customer service around. My glasses of 5 months were broken and not repairable, I went in for help and they reordered the lenses under my warranty, but the frame still did not sit right. My daughter was getting married in just over a week and Lauren told me they would do whatever it takes to get my glasses repaired. 6 days later I got a call that my glasses were ready, I went to pick them up and they had a new pair just in time for me to see my daughter walk down the aisle; this means the world to me that they worked so hard to make this happen.
